董臣，河南信阳人，副教授，硕士生导师。武汉大学生命科学学院遗传学专业博士研究生毕业，湖北省莲藕工程技术研究中心研究人员。2014年进入河南工业大学生物工程学院，主要从事植物重要功能基因的研究与利用。目前，主持国家、省部级和校级等项目4项，发表论文10余篇。
