1.1 Tell us something about your undergraduate school.

I am studying in ...... University. It is a dynamic and comprehensive university with a wide range of disciplines. It is one of the key institutions of higher learning in ...... Province. My university is very big. It has five campuses. However, its greatness is not 

only reflected in its occupied areas but also in its profound culture, for example, the motto. Pursuing the tradition of “……” as its mission, it has cultivated a lot of graduates and talents and supplied a complete set of facilities and services for teaching and research. Under the guidance of the school motto, I have also read many books on different fields during my four years' study. All in all, I love my beautiful university: love her attractive sceneries, love the learnt teachers and kind classmates.Studying here, I have had a comprehensive development.

1.2 How do you evaluate your undergraduate school study?

During the past four years studying life, I have been studying very hard and I usually immersed myself in library, in which I have read a great deal of professional books which are helpful for my major. So, I have obtained excellent grades and I also passed the CET-6. In addition, I am willing to take part in some activities to relax myself, which is necessary for my college life. In a word, I enjoy a rich and colorful school life. Maybe I am not the smartest student in today’s interview, but I believe I am the most hard-working.

你如何评价你本科学习？

在过去四年的本科学习中，我一直努力学习且经常在图书馆学习，在哪里我读过很多对我的专业有帮助的专业书籍，所以我取得了优异的成绩且通过了大学英语六级。另外，我乐于参加很多活动来放松自我，那是我大学生活非常有必要的部分。总而言之，我度过了一个丰富和多姿多彩的大学生活。也许我不是今天面试中最聪明的学生，但我相信我是最努力的。

1.3 What is the most important skill you have acquired at college?

First, I think I have acquired a lot of skills and knowledge at college. If must name one most important skill, it should be: cooperate with others, and this also is vitally significant for a would-be postgraduate. During the college life, we not only need to live with different people, but also participate in activities or conduct researches with others; and in these activities or researches, good cooperation can help the process run smoothly. During the process, I gradually learn how to get along with different people and how to coordinate various opinions.

你在大学中学到的最重要的技能是什么？

首先，我觉得我在大学学到了很多技能和知识。如果必须说出一个最重要的技能，应该是与他人合作，这对一个即将成为研究生的学生来说也是至关重要的。在大学生活中，我们不仅需要与不同的人生活在一起，还需要与他人一起参与各种活动或研究；在这些活动或研究中，良好的合作有助于过程的顺利进行。在这个过程中，我也逐渐学会了与不同的人相处，以及如何协调各种意见。

1.4 Tell us something about your major in the university.

I am studying in the Computer Science Department of Henan University, majoring in the Computer Application. As a qualified undergraduate of my major, I have learned Mathematics, C Language Programming, JAVA Programming Design and so on, while this major not only demands solid basics and professional computer knowledge, but also requires students knowing how to apply these knowledges to practice flexibly. What’s more, the rapid development of science and technology has brought a quick turnover to knowledge of all kinds, especially that of computer science, so it’s a part of our study life to keep a close eye on the latest dynamics in this area. In this process, the more I learn, the stronger my desire for knowledge becomes, since I realize what I have mastered is far less enough for my future career goal, that’s why I decided to apply for your distinguished university and go further study.

告诉我们一些有关你大学所修专业

我在河南大学计算机科学系学习，主修计算机应用专业。作为计算机系的一名合格的本科生，我学过数学、C 语言程序设计、JAVA 程序设计等,不过这个专业不仅需要扎实的计算机基础知识和专业知识，还需要学生知道如何将这些知识灵活应用到实践中。此外，科技的快速发展使得各科知识更新得都很快，尤其是计算机科学方面的，所以我们日常学习的一部分内容就是密切关注本领域的最新动态。在这个过程中，我学得越多，对于知识的渴望就越强烈，因为意识到自己目前所学对于未来的职业目标来说还远远不够，所以我决定报考贵校，继续深造。
